  1. Looking back at your initial reflection (your very first blogpost), what do you feel you know now about psychology that you didn't at the beginning of the semester? I feel like I have much deeper understanding to the things I already did know. Like in the beginning of the semester, I understand a decent amount but not to the extent that the class taught me. I definitely understand a lot more, and the reasons for many different characteristics people have. 
  2. Now at the end of the semester, how do you see psychology as relevant to your everyday life, major, and/or future career? I think psychology is extremely relevant to everyday life no matter what situation you might be in. I think it is very important to understand how people operate in order to accomplish anything. Whether that might be an argument or a situation at work. I think in order for the world to operate, everyone should understand some psychology. Because I feel like by understanding that everyone thinks and feels differently than a lot of problems would not be as big of a deal. 
  3. If you had to take one big thing away from this course, what would it be and why? The biggest takeaway from this course would definitely be that everyone is human and to be more considerate. I feel like the class gave me more of a empathic outlook towards people's lives and their situations. Which is also something I am very happy about, and glad that I am starting to understand more, because I think it will help me later on as a person. And I think it will also help me later on in my career, and my relationships.

  Unit 2 Application Reflection After looking through the list, I would say that I am really good at creating schedules of my assignments in order to keep track of them, so I know when they are due or not. I also tend to look up a lot of words I do not understand, since my vocabulary could use some work. I do try to think about the main idea after I read things. PORTFOLIO: Unit 5 Application Reflection

PORTFOLIO: Unit 5 Application Reflection After being in psychology and learning the effects of how stress can really affect someone, I am starting to understand how it can weigh so heavy. I learned how stress can be a very big impact on a person's mental health, and how by having too much stress it can be easily be overwhelming and extremely negative both emotionally and physically. Some stressors that I am personally worried about for the end of the semester is really just school, and exams. I struggle with seasonal depression, since I am person who really bases their moods off the environment and their surroundings.
