PORTFOLIO: Unit 5 Application Reflection

After being in psychology and learning the effects of how stress can really affect someone, I am starting to understand how it can weigh so heavy. I learned how stress can be a very big impact on a person's mental health, and how by having too much stress it can be easily be overwhelming and extremely negative both emotionally and physically. Some stressors that I am personally worried about for the end of the semester is really just school, and exams. I struggle with seasonal depression, since I am person who really bases their moods off the environment and their surroundings. So when it is cold like this, I find it harder to do tasks that were so simple for me before. I also always worry about my grades, since I really do want good grades but it is also hard to find the motivation this time of year. Some ideas I have in order to help myself are to make sure I try to plan ahead as much as possible, so I do not feel as overwhelmed. Another way I will try take care of myself during more stressful time likes this, I will take a mental health day. I will do this in order to give my brain a break, and remind myself it is ok to relax.
