  Application Portfolio Looking back at your initial reflection (your very first blogpost), what do you feel you know now about psychology that you didn't at the beginning of the semester?  I feel like I have much deeper understanding to the things I already did know. Like in the beginning of the semester, I understand a decent amount but not to the extent that the class taught me. I definitely understand a lot more, and the reasons for many different  characteristics  people have.  Now at the end of the semester, how do you see psychology as relevant to your everyday life, major, and/or future career? I think psychology is extremely relevant to everyday life no matter what situation you might be in. I think it is very important to understand how people operate in order to accomplish anything. PORTFOLIO: Unit 4 Application Reflection

 Portfolio: Unit 4 Application Reflection Interests: 1. What are your top 3 interest areas? Social, Enterprising, Conventional 2. What Career Examples are shown in the "Interest" tab related to your strongest interest areas?  Do you have any interest in these careers? The career examples shown to me were ones revolving around finance, marketing, and sales. I do have a lot of interest in these careers, since I hope to do something around finance in the future. As well as, I am a finance major so all of these interests definitely line up.  Values: 3. What are your highest and lowest areas in your values results?  Do you agree with these results? My highest areas in value are achievement , independence, and recognition. My lowest areas are in relationships, support, and working conditions. PORTFOLIO: Unit 5 Application Reflection After being in psychology and learning the effects of how stress can really affect someone, I am starting to understand how it can weigh so heavy. I learned how stress can be a very big impact on a person's mental health, and how by having too much stress it can be easily be overwhelming and extremely negative both emotionally and physically. Some stressors that I am personally worried about for the end of the semester is really just school, and exams. I struggle with seasonal depression, since I am person who really bases their moods off the environment and their surroundings. So when it is cold like this, I find it harder to do tasks that were so simple for me before. I also always worry about my grades, since I really do want good grades but it is also hard to find the motivation this time of year.
